A diva using her God-given talents to their fullest is Timogi. She's a jill-of-all-trades. Not only does she design her own clothes (and sell them as well), she also has designed and written an amazing line of greeting cards, available at her site www.timogi.com. A creative visionary and business woman, Timogi is a woman who is grounded in principals and reaching for the stars ... and if anyone will reach them, she will!What is your biggest accomplishment?
Starting my business "Creativity in Bloom! By Timogi" from five loaves and two fish, and operating it debt free.
Name your favorite movie?
"The Shawshank Redemption" because life rains on the just as well as the unjust and sometimes we must crawl through it to get to it. Believe. Persevere.
Describe your personal diva style.
Ultra feminine & Fancy free!
I design and make 90% of my wardrobe and 99% of that is dresses and skirts. A piece of fabric and design on my mind will wake me from my sleep! I have big, natural, curly hair that I absolutely enjoy. Most of the time it is all over the place, wild and free.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
This is an easy one, "Be Holy". Despite all that life throws at you "Be Holy". But my husband........."Be Holy". But my boss..............."Be Holy." But...................."Be Holy" and God will work that thing right on out for you.
You look mah-valous! what is your secret??
I walk in the God-given light that is uniquely and completely my own. (The meaning of my name)What's one dream you look forward to coming true?
Personal: Well my son at the tender age of seven told me " Mom, I think I will go to Wake Forest for undergrad and Duke for graduate school". My dream is that I can write that check and not break a sweat.
Business: I would love to "Host a Sistah Friend Party" on national television.
If a movie was made about your life, what actress would play you and who would your leading man be?
Well, does she have to be an actress?....... Jill Scott. She is beautiful, talented, grounded and creative. Leading man, Jimmy Jean-Louis absolutely!
What 3 adjectives would your best friend use to describe you?
Passionate. Brilliant.Phenomenal. ( It takes one to know one). She has been a pillar of strength and a fountain of inspiration in my life for over 15 years now. I Love You Albrean!
What makeup/beauty essential can you absolutely positively not live without?
Bare Minerals tinted mineral veil.
What's playing on your CD player right now?
I own every piece of music Oleta Adams ever recorded. I remember my mother playing "Get Here" for me and I was hooked. She is the only artist whose music I have to have on the day it is released. Currently Vicki Yohe is playing in the car, "You Amaze Me"
What is the one thing you wish more people knew about you?
Wow... I am so ultra transparent to a fault at times. I am not sure how to answer this one.
I praise dance to fulfill my singing fantasy!
What is your opinion, is the formula to success?
(Faith+ action) - ( fear + negativity) x momentum = Success
In all that one does, success begins at faith in God.
Have a vision but look not at what you see. Your sight will deter you and prohibit your actions if things don't look right(now). Then one must act! Once you start the ball rolling, momentum is a an amazing force. God loves to multiply exponentially!
What motivates you?
The nay-sayers, the tremendous forces working hard to stop me, they confirm my blessings.

No one else in the world is, or ever will be qualified to be you. Don't rob the world of something that can never be duplicated or substituted. God only makes one-of-a-kind unique beautiful works of art and you happen to be on of them! So, my personal phlosophy would have to be: Be You!
