Mary Harris is moving full steam ahead and pursuing her dream of making a living as a traditional gospel singer. A pediatric transplant nurse by day, Mary has the talent to make the transition from the operating room to the stage. After all, she impressed the notoriously tough Apollo audience. Currently, she's working on her first CD which she hopes to release some time next year. Not to be detered, Mary Harris is one determined DivaSoulSista!What is your biggest accomplishment?
I would have to say becoming a mother, wife and transplant nurse, and appearing on the Apollo Theater last November.

That would be The Color Purple of course!

I am very laid back, but I love looking good, people always say appearance doe's not matter, then I wonder what planet they are from?( smile)
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Learn to save for a rainy day.
You look mah-valous! what is your secret??
I'm always trying to de-stress myself. Sometimes it works, sometimes I just deal with it. I also exercise and try to get plenty of sleep.
What's one dream you look forward to coming true?
Singing the Gospel, telling the world about the Lord through song.
If a movie was made about your life, what actress would play you and who would your leading man be?
The actress would have to be me of course, and Irvin Harris who is the love of my life, would be my leading man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Color Purple Musical, saw it on Broadway last summer.

I want them all to know I love the Lord!!!

The ability to fail and not give up!

God, love and family. I try to motivate myself also!
