February 2006: Shelia Chadwick
	Age: 36 Location: Indianapolis Occupation: Writer and Online Publisher Status: Single Children: 2 daughters Shelia Chadwick is a woman on a mission. In addition to raising two daughters, Shelia recently completed her undergraduate degree in Business Management. She is continuing her education by pursuing a Master's in Adult Education. If holding down a full-time job, raising twin girls and going to school full-time wasn't enough, Shelia also runs Word on the Street (http://www.thewots.info), an entertainment news ezine and message board. 1. What is your biggest accomplishment? Raising my daugthers as a single parent and obtaining my degree as a working adult. 2. Name your favorite movie. Love Jones. Larenz Tate is so damn sexy in that movie. 3. Describe your personal diva style. Natural Diva with a Twist. I love to wear my hair braided but my foot gear sets the overall tone. The funkier the shoe or boot, the funkier my style. I tend to dress from the feet up. 4. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received? The best advice I received was from my father. When I called him at the age of 22 and told him that his unmarried daughter was pregnant, he told me "Wanting a family is as natural as apple pie. The same is true when they get here and you don't do what you are suppose to do." I've lived by those words ever since. 5. You look mah-valous! What is your secret?? Moderate drinking (no heavy liquors), plenty of exercise (take the stairs when possible), and I try to pray & laugh as often as I can (it cleanses the soul). 6. What's one dream you look forward to having come true? My biggest dream is not for me but for my kids in that I pray that they continue to beat the odds and grow up to be successful women. 7. If a movie were made about your life, what actress would play you and who would be your leading man? Nia Long or Rhonda Ross-Kiindred would play me and at this point there would be several leading men as I'm single, happy and appreciative of friends. I don't plan to be married until after 40. 8. What 3 adjectives would your best friend use to describe you? Strong, Funny, Courageous 9. What makeup/beauty essential can you absolutely positively not live without? Vaseline. 10. What’s playing on your CD or MP3 player right now? Babyface, Mike Phillips, Kindred and a bunch of oldies. 11. What is one thing you wish more people knew about you? I'm not as strong as everyone perceives me to be. 12. What, in your opinion, is the formula for success? Keeping GOD first and following his plan for you. Not your own. 13. What motivates you? Having something preplanned to work hard towards. 14. Complete this sentence: "One year from now I would like to... have finished half of my graduate degree along with financial freedom. 15.
